Netra Tarpan: Ayurvedic Eye Rejuvenation in East Delhi
Constant screen time leaves our eyes tired and dry. I use traditional Netra Tarpan to provide deep relief, using warm medicated ghee to soothe strain and improve clarity.
I guide my students personally through the Netra Tarpan process, ensuring they are safe and comfortable. This ancient Ayurvedic eye bath is excellent for relieving digital eye strain, dryness, and allergies, leaving you with clearer vision and a relaxed mind.
During a Netra Tarpan session, I make sure to check on each student individually. It's important to me that everyone feels safe and relaxed. You can see the positive reactions as they experience this unique eye rejuvenation therapy.
About Netra Tarpan: Ayurvedic Eye Rejuvenation
You might think creating a dough dam around your eyes sounds intimidating, but it is actually one of the most soothing practices we do. In our small group sessions, you will see fellow students relaxing with the same therapy, which helps everyone stay calm and comfortable. We use warm, medicated ghee to deeply nourish tired eyes, and I am right there checking on you to ensure the temperature and fit are perfect. It is the best way to disconnect from your phone or laptop and give your vision a real break.
Netra Tarpan is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that acts like a spa for your eyes. If you spend hours staring at screens, your eyes likely feel dry, heavy, or irritated by the end of the day. This practice helps wash away that fatigue.
We start by applying a leak-proof ring made of Urad dal flour around the eye sockets. Once sealed, we pour warm, medicated ghee into the rings. The ghee is comforting, not hot, and we ask you to blink and rotate your eyes while submerged. This allows the ghee to deeply penetrate and lubricate the ocular tissues. Most of our students describe the sensation as incredibly grounding.
It is not just about relaxation. It is a cleansing process that helps with allergies, strain, and general dryness. Because we do this in a shared studio space in Yamuna Vihar, you are never alone during the process. I personally guide each participant, checking the dough seal and asking, 'Kaisa lag raha hai?' to make sure you are comfortable. We follow up with a gentle warm compress and orbital massage to ensure your eyes feel completely refreshed when you leave.
Many students who come for our regular yoga classes find that adding Netra Tarpan creates a complete wellness routine. Whether you are a local resident in East Delhi or someone looking for specific relief from digital eye strain, this session offers a safe, time-tested approach to eye health.
