I believe everything has a second life hiding underneath a coat of paint. From worn-out furniture to forgotten knick-knacks, I turn the boring into something you will actually want to display.

Why settle for basic when your headphones can be a canvas? We gave these a vibrant makeover in our signature illustration style, making them truly one-of-a-kind.

We upcycled these old plastic supplement containers for a client, turning them into charming, hand-painted storage jars with whimsical landscape designs.

I couldn't bring myself to throw away a beautiful calendar, so I cut out the illustrations, painted them, and turned them into lovely vinyl stickers for our studio wall.

From earthy terracotta to hand-painted art. We gave this plain jug, bell, and birdhouse a colorful, whimsical twist.

We found a box of shot glasses we had painted months ago and never launched. This video is us unboxing them and getting them ready for the website.

Introducing our super cute bird-themed shot glasses. Each glass in the set features a different quirky and colorful bird illustration.

About Unique Upcycled Items

Getting started is simple, but the prep work is where the magic happens. Whether it is a helmet or a vintage drawer, I personally handle the sanding, degreasing, and application of bonding primer so your piece survives daily wear and tear. You just need to bring your item to my Whitefield studio, and I will take care of the heavy lifting.

My upcycling process is not just about making things look pretty. It is about salvaging items that have structural integrity but have lost their charm.

My Restoration Process

When you bring me an item, the first thing I do is assess the surface. For wood, I sand down the old varnish and fill minor cracks. If it is glass or terracotta, I clean it deeply and apply a specialized bonding primer (Gesso) so the paint actually sticks. I use fade-resistant acrylics for all my designs and finish every piece with multiple coats of furniture-grade varnish (Matte or Gloss) to ensure it stays water and scratch-resistant.

What I Transform

I love a challenge. My studio has seen everything from old supplement containers turned into storage jars to helmets with custom cityscapes.

  • Small Decor: Bottles, lampshades, mugs, and planters. These usually take 10 to 15 business days.
  • Medium Items: Helmets, stools, and side tables. These require heavy-duty sealing to withstand daily handling.
  • Large Furniture: Chests of drawers or console tables. I handle these with a more rigorous process, often involving a complete base color change. These usually require 3 to 4 weeks depending on the mural complexity.

Why Upcycle?

Every piece we save is one less thing in a landfill. Whether you want a sentimental object restored or a boring piece of furniture brought back to life, I am here to help you reimagine it. Please note that I do not provide structural carpentry or upholstery changes, but I am happy to paint and finish your hard surfaces to perfection.

I am Tanvi, and if you see me with paint on my nose, it is just a normal day at the studio. I started this business because I could not bear to throw away perfectly good things just because they looked a bit tired. My mom, the OG artist of the family, and my small team are the backbone of everything we create here.
