About Personalized Art & Gifts
When you share a photo for a portrait or nameplate, I don't just trace it. I sit down to sketch it, blending my signature vibrant, line-painting style with the specific details you want to highlight—whether it’s adding a fur baby, a favorite coffee mug, or the specific flowers that remind you of home.
How We Create Your Custom Art
Every commission starts with a conversation. I want to know the story behind the photo—why this memory matters to you, or what personality traits you want to see captured in the painting. Once we finalize the theme and color palette, I get to work in my studio, applying my signature hand-painted style with fade-resistant acrylics.
The Process:
- Design & Sketch: I take your photos or ideas and sketch them out, ensuring they fit the medium, whether it's a ceramic plate, a name board, or a wooden coaster.
- Artistic Execution: I use vibrant colors and intricate line work to make each piece pop. I'm not looking for hyper-realistic copies; I'm looking for the 'feeling' of the memory.
- Finish & Protect: Every item is finished with multiple coats of clear varnish (matte or gloss, depending on your choice) to ensure the colors stay bright and the surface is wipeable.
Practical Details:
- Surface Prep: Whether it's a vinyl record being turned into a wall plate or a wooden name board, I clean and prime every surface properly before the paint touches it.
- Timelines: For personalized gifts, please keep in mind that I'm a small team. Depending on the complexity and the number of people or pets in your portrait, it usually takes about 10 to 15 business days to bring your piece to life.
- Care: These are functional art pieces. They are durable, but treat them with love—wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and keep them away from harsh scrubbing or direct, long-term outdoor exposure.
