This plate from the set captures the playful tradition of Sindoor Khela, where women apply vermilion to each other on the last day of Durga Puja.

About Festive & Pooja Collection
Each festive piece I create, whether it is a Durga Pujo wall plate or a set of Diwali candle holders, starts with a vision to make traditions feel a little more personal. I use fade-resistant acrylics and finish everything with a protective varnish, so your festive decor does not just look good for one pooja, it lasts for years of celebrations to come.
Planning your festive decor can get stressful, but I love making it easier by adding those little artistic touches that stand out. For Durga Pujo, I often paint custom wall plates featuring scenes like the dhunuchi dance or Sindoor Khela, which bring that authentic vibe right into your living room. These are not factory-made prints. Every line, like the fine details on Maa Durga’s face, is painted by hand in my studio.
For smaller everyday festive needs, I work on items like terracotta agarbatti stands, diya holders, and glass jars. I pick up tinted jars—often from places like IKEA—and transform them into bird-themed containers perfect for gifting dry fruits or sweets during Diwali. The process is simple: I clean, prime, paint, and varnish. This sealing is crucial because festive items see a lot of handling and candlelight, and I want to ensure the paint stays vibrant without peeling.
If you have a specific theme in mind, maybe you want a particular color palette for your Ganesh Chaturthi setup or unique return gifts for guests, let’s chat. I can work with your ideas to create something that fits your space, whether you are in Bangalore or anywhere across India. Just remember, since everything is hand-painted, I usually need a bit of lead time to get the details perfect.

I’m Tanvi, and this studio is basically my messy, happy space where I turn boring objects into festive art. My Papa is my behind-the-scenes fixer, and my mom is the OG artist who helps me refine these traditional motifs. We love creating pieces that actually make your festival feel a little more like home.
