These vintage designs take a lot more patience than the quick reels show. Each rose is hand-piped using buttercream, and since I bake and decorate solo in my kitchen, I usually need a bit of lead time to ensure the lace patterns and floral arrangements look perfect by the time they reach you.
I love the Lambeth style, all those ruffles, lace, and piping. It feels like stepping back in time. For these cakes, I prefer buttercream over fondant because it tastes better and holds those delicate shapes beautifully. Whether it is a cake like my 'Her Highness' vintage design or something with fresh roses like my 'Fitoor' creation, the goal is always the same: make it look like a piece of art that you actually want to eat. Since I am a one-person team, I spend hours getting the piping exactly right, so I really appreciate it when you share your inspiration photos a few days in advance. That way, I can ensure the colors and flowers match the mood of your party perfectly. I work out of my mum's kitchen in Dombivli, and my cakes have made it across Mumbai safely, but for these intricate floral setups, I like to plan the transport details early to keep everything looking fresh.
