About Multi-Tier Celebration Cakes
Getting a three-tier cake across the city is a logistical challenge, not just a baking one. For every multi-tier order, I use food-grade wooden dowels and separator boards to keep the structure rock-solid during transit. If it’s a massive setup, I’ll often come to your venue to assemble and finish the decorations on-site, so your centerpiece reaches you in perfect shape.
When you see a multi-tier cake, you’re looking at a mix of art and structural engineering. Whether it’s an engagement cake with a delicate red ombre finish or a 60th birthday milestone cake with gold accents, I treat every tier like a separate project.
I don't believe in shortcuts. For these large cakes, I focus on the internal configuration first. It might sound technical, but using proper support is the only way to ensure your cake doesn't lean or collapse during the drive to your venue. It’s all about making sure that the final presentation is as stable as it is beautiful.
Since I operate from my home kitchen in Dombivli, I’ve had to master the art of transport. I deliver across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, and for larger 3kg plus cakes, I often prefer assembling the final touches at the venue. This lets me fix any minor details that might get smudged on the road and ensures everything looks fresh for your cake-cutting moment.
