The Combat Lab: Raw MMA & Strength Training
We don't do fancy gym routines. This is our home in Vasant Kunj—where our athletes train, our fighters prepare, and you get to work.
This is what it's all about. We combine combat sports training with serious strength and conditioning. You'll see members hitting the heavy bag, rolling in jiu-jitsu, and lifting heavy with exercises like the deadlift. We build functional strength that translates directly to your performance on the mats or in the cage.
I practice what I preach. Building real strength isn't a side project, it's the foundation of everything we do. This is me getting a session in, focusing on the kind of weight training that supports a fighter's body and prevents injury. Results come from consistent work, not from talking about it.
We focus on making you more resilient. Martial arts is tough on the body, so a big part of our strength program is injury prevention. Here you can see one of our athletes using resistance bands for targeted muscle activation, a key part of building a body that's harder to break.
This is Tom, the founder of our partners at Calfunk Fitness. We teamed up because we share the same belief: you need to be strong, and you need to know how to defend yourself. This video shows the unique environment we've created, blending expert strength coaching with real combat training.
Your gas tank is everything. This is a look at our combat conditioning work, where we hammer your endurance. We use tools like jump ropes and shadow boxing drills to make sure you never gas out, whether it's in the last round of a fight or a tough roll in class.
A few thoughts on our move to the new Vasant Kunj location. This place is more than just a gym, it's a community. I'm grateful for everyone who shows up and motivates us to keep this thing going. The new facility gives us the space and equipment to take our training to the next level.
About Featured
We don't do machines that isolate muscles just to look good. Every session in our Vasant Kunj space is built for functional strength—think heavy deadlifts, cleans, and squats that actually translate to the mat, paired with high-intensity conditioning that makes sure you don't gas out when the pressure is on.
Why We Train This Way
Most gyms separate their lifting from their combat training. We think that's a mistake. By teaming up with Calfunk Fitness, we've created a space where you can go from a heavy barbell session straight to the mats for BJJ or MMA drills. It's about building a body that is hard to break and impossible to tire out.
The Space
Our Vasant Kunj facility is built for the grind. You won't find air conditioning or mirrors here. You will find Olympic barbells, custom wall-mounted rigs, and an industrial garage aesthetic that keeps the focus entirely on your performance. Whether you are prepping for a cage fight or just fixing your posture, you have access to the same equipment our pro fighters use.
Who This Is For
- The Fighter: You need strength that helps you control your opponent, not just muscles that look good in a photo.
- The Beginner: You are tired of boring gym routines and want to learn something real.
- The Athlete: You want to increase your resilience and reduce your chance of injury.
We don't care if you have zero experience. We care that you show up, you listen, and you put in the reps. Everyone here trains together, learns from each other, and gets better. Come through and see what it's like on the mats.
