About this collection
When you attend one of these seminars, don't expect a standard class. We strip back techniques to their core mechanics—whether it's specific leg lock entries or Muay Thai striking concepts—giving you a chance to reset your game with direct, hands-on corrections. It is high-intensity, you will sweat, and you will leave with actionable details to immediately fix your rolls.
Why We Host These Seminars
Regular classes build your foundation, but seminars are where we break the plateau. We bring in high-level guest coaches like Mike Murrell (BJJ/Judo Blackbelt) or champions like Ashish Ramansethi to give you a fresh lens on the game.
What You Can Expect
We run two formats: guest masterclasses and in-house technical deep dives.
- Guest Seminars: Usually 2-4 day camps or single-day clinics. Expect 20-35 other practitioners, partnered drilling, and sparring.
- Technical Deep Dives: These are led by us at The Combat Lab, focusing on one specific problem, like triangle mechanics or mount escapes. We spend 30% on theory, 50% on drilling, and 20% on positional sparring.
Practical Details
- Gear: Check the specific seminar requirements before you sign up. For Muay Thai, you need boxing gloves and shinpads; for BJJ, bring your Gi or No-Gi kit.
- Level: Most sessions are open to all, but some advanced technical workshops (like leg locks) work best if you have at least a few months of mat time under your belt.
- Logistics: We operate out of our Vasant Kunj facility. If we are doing a multi-day camp across partner venues, we will let you know exactly where to be well in advance.
Bottom line: Show up, put in the work, and be ready to learn.
The Combat Lab
We run these sessions because real progress happens when you get outside your comfort zone. Whether it's an international black belt or a detailed breakdown with my senior team, these workshops are about putting in the work and actually leveling up.
