About From My Kitchen to Your Home

When I bake, I skip refined flour and butter entirely, relying instead on pulverized oats, almond meal, and cold-pressed oils for structure. This makes the cake dense and rich, not light or airy. My biggest tip, especially during the monsoon, is to microwave any of my cakes for 20 seconds before eating. It warms the ingredients, makes the texture melt in your mouth, and brings out the flavor profile.

I started this journey four years ago because I could not find desserts that were truly healthy and aligned with my Jain values. My philosophy is simple: the '4 NOs'—no refined flour (maida), no butter, no eggs, and no refined sugar. Instead, I use natural sweeteners like jaggery and dates to ensure my treats are safe for everyone, from children to senior citizens and those watching their blood sugar levels.

Every item you see here is made from scratch in my home kitchen in Mumbai. Because I do not use commercial preservatives or stabilizers, my cakes, brownies, and mousse cups have a different, denser texture than what you might find in a store. I take great pride in making them Jain-friendly and suitable even for fasting periods. If you are ordering for an event or just a weekend treat, remember that these are baked fresh.
