I created these workshops as a quiet escape from the city. No experience is needed, just a curious heart and a willingness to get a little messy with clay.

A day in my life as a pottery instructor. There is a deep serenity in the repetitive motions of wedging and throwing clay. It's a mindful flow state where each piece becomes an extension of my vision.

This is what a perfect weekend looks like to us. When life gets overwhelming, finding tranquility at the pottery wheel is a perfect escape from the buzzing city.

The joy of making something with your own hands is a beautiful thing to witness. Here, I am guiding a student as she centers the clay and begins to shape her first piece on the wheel.

Make pottery with me. This video takes you through a fun session, from working on the wheel to showing off the finished, hand-built pieces at the end.

Female friendships are so healing. Our workshops often become a sanctuary where friends can connect, create, and find solace together in a safe and supportive space.

From clay to glow. A happy group from our workshop at Terra Crafts Kochi, where we molded memories and sparked joy by creating our own unique ceramic lamps.

A student carefully carves intricate patterns into her piece. Hand-building allows for incredible detail and patience, turning a simple form into a complex work of art.

Molded from the earth, shaped by the soul. This image captures the moment of creation on the wheel, a symphony of texture and tone as the form takes shape.

Have you ever tried shaping clay into personalized creations? Our workshops are a place to escape the daily grind and find relaxation in the therapeutic act of shaping clay.

It’s past midnight, and the world is quiet. For us, late-night pottery isn't just work; it's therapy. It's how we comfort ourselves, shaping silence into something beautiful.

About Messy Hands, Full Hearts: The Workshop Experience

I handle the firing, glazing, and final packaging, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. You simply show up, spend three hours learning the basics of the wheel or hand-building, and about three to four weeks later, your finished ceramic piece arrives safely at your home, ready to use.

Finding Calm in Clay

When I first started working with clay, I was looking for silence. I realized that the repetitive motion of centering clay on a wheel or pinching coils by hand forces you to slow down. That is exactly what I aim to recreate in my workshops. Whether you are joining me for a quick introduction or a multi-day camp, the goal is not to produce museum-grade art on day one—it is to enjoy the tactile experience of shaping something with your own two hands.

How My Workshops Work

I offer a few different ways to explore clay:

  • Beginner Pop-Ups: These are three-hour sessions where we cover the basics of both wheel throwing and hand-building. It is perfect if you are just curious or want to see if pottery is your thing.
  • Themed Masterclasses: If you want to make something specific, like a ceramic lamp, we use these sessions to focus on the technical side of functional design, including the electrical hardware.
  • 5-Day Intensive Camps: For those who want to really dive deep, we spend five days covering everything from wedging and advanced throwing to surface decoration techniques.

Practical Details

  • Logistics: I bring everything—tools, clay, and aprons. If you are attending a session in Bangalore or one of my pop-ups in Chennai, Kochi, or Mumbai, you do not need to bring a thing.
  • Post-Workshop: Every piece you make gets professional attention back at my studio. I trim, dry, and fire your creations twice in the kiln to ensure they are durable and food-safe. Once they are glazed and fired, I pack them securely and courier them directly to your door. Shipping is included in your workshop fee, so there are no surprise costs later.
