Tennis isn't just about your forehand. If you want to win, you need the engine to back it up. We build that engine here on our Pitampura courts.

Footwork is everything in tennis. Here, our young players are doing a shadow swing drill focusing on quick feet, balance, and proper swing mechanics without the ball.

A group of players performing dynamic lunges as part of their warm-up routine. This exercise builds lower body strength and flexibility, which is essential for preventing injuries and improving court coverage.

Training should also be fun. Here, our younger players engage in a fun agility drill, chasing balloons to improve their speed, reaction time, and coordination in a playful way.

This is a team drill designed to improve concentration and coordination. Players work together, passing their rackets in a circle, which requires focus and quick reactions.

A player practices a hand-eye coordination drill, bouncing a ball while maintaining a low, athletic stance. This simple exercise is great for improving feel and control.

A glimpse of our warm-up session. Players are doing arm circles and dynamic stretches to prepare their bodies for an intense training session on the court.

A compilation showing various fun and fitness activities at the academy. From running drills to team exercises, we ensure our players are well-rounded athletes.

About this collection

We don't believe in separate gym days. Our fitness is integrated directly into the daily 2.5-hour training block. You will do 90 minutes of high-repetition technical drills followed immediately by 45 minutes of agility and core work. This specific structure trains your body to maintain focus and power in that third set tie-breaker when your opponent is already gassed.

At ILTA, we know that natural talent only gets you so far. The gap between a good player and a champion is fitness. Our conditioning program is designed for one purpose: tournament readiness. We use professional red clay courts, which are notoriously demanding on the legs and lungs. By training here, you aren't just playing; you are building the stamina to outlast the competition.

We break our physical training down into three pillars:

  1. Agility: Speed ladders, cone drills, and reactive shuttle runs to sharpen your court coverage.
  2. Core & Stability: Functional bodyweight movements that protect you from common tennis injuries and help generate groundstroke power.
  3. Endurance: Suicide drills and high-intensity interval training to ensure your heart rate stays managed, even during long, grueling points.

This isn't for those looking for a casual weekend knock-about. We expect you to sweat, grit your teeth, and push through the fatigue. If you are preparing for AITA, DDA, or school tournaments, this is the environment you need. You bring the discipline, we provide the structure. Let's get to work.
