About this collection

Beginners often start on hard surfaces, but at our GKVK Road facility, we train exclusively on red clay. This surface is softer on the knees and requires better footwork. Our entry-level batch maintains a maximum 1:8 student-to-coach ratio, ensuring that every player receives active supervision during grip, swing, and coordination drills.

Our Systematic Approach to Tennis Fundamentals

At Tennis360 Academy, we operate under the principle that technical proficiency must be established before speed or power. Our foundational program removes the guesswork from learning, focusing on a structured methodology that builds muscle memory through repetition.

Why Red Clay Courts

We utilize red clay courts for all training levels, including beginners. Clay provides a slower, more predictable ball bounce compared to hard courts, allowing students more time to position themselves correctly. Additionally, the surface reduces impact stress on joints, which is crucial for students developing their physical conditioning.

Technical Progression for New Players

  • Stage-Based Equipment: We utilize Stage 3 (red) and Stage 2 (orange) low-compression balls. These balls travel slower and bounce lower, allowing beginners to hit the ball in their strike zone more frequently.
  • Grip and Stance: Our initial focus is on mastering the fundamental grip for forehands and backhands. We emphasize static ball feeding to ensure consistency in the swing path.
  • Footwork Drills: Before integrating complex rallies, students perform specific footwork drills using plastic cones to develop balance and court positioning.

The Training Structure

Our foundational batch consists of three sessions per week, with each session lasting one hour. We prioritize the quality of instruction over the number of hours played. By maintaining a small group format, our coaches can provide individual corrections during the session, which is essential for preventing the development of improper habits early in the learning process.
