Pricing Guide
Recreational Weekend Open (Non-Ranking)
Tournament Format
- Structure: Single elimination (Knockout) for Men's Singles or Doubles. No AITA or UTR registration required.
- Umpiring: Self-umpired matches (honor system) for preliminary rounds; academy coaches assist during Semi-finals and Finals.
Match Logistics
- Surface: Outdoor Clay courts scheduled primarily on weekends (Saturday/Sunday).
- Essentials: Standard pressure tennis balls and basic courtside refreshments (glucose/bananas) provided.
- Rewards: Trophies or medals awarded to Winners and Runners-up.
AITA National Ranking Entry (TS7)
Competition Standards
- Ranking Points: Valid AITA Talent Series entry where points accrued count towards All India National Ranking.
- Draw Format: Main Draw and Qualifying rounds (knockout basis) for Under-14 and Under-16 categories.
- Officiating: Managed by an AITA-registered Tournament Referee for dispute resolution and strict draw adherence.
Infrastructure & Amenities
- Court: Outdoor Red Clay Courts (watered and brushed between scheduled blocks).
- Balls: AITA-approved match balls (e.g., Head Championship). Used balls may be cycled for early rounds.
- Facilities: Basic water stations and limited perimeter seating (plastic chairs).
UTR Global Rating Match Play
Technical Rating Scope
- Verification: All match results are uploaded to the Universal Tennis Rating system (Global database).
- grouping: Level-based play matches opponents of similar skill (within 1.0 to 1.5 rating difference) rather than just age.
On-Court Experience
- Format: Typically uses Round Robin or Compass draws to ensure a minimum match guarantee (e.g., 2 matches).
- Priority Access: Priority allocation of Clay courts and new balls provided for the start of match blocks.
