Yoga is not just a solo pursuit on a mat. It is a shared science of transformation. This is a glimpse into my Sangha—the community, the training, and the life that happens beyond the asanas.

A cherished memory from my Hatha Yoga teacher training. Being part of this vibrant community, this Sangha, is a constant source of inspiration and support on my path.

A compilation from a Hatha Yoga teachers' meet in Bengaluru. It is a joy to connect with fellow teachers of all ages and backgrounds, all united by the mission of taking Hatha Yoga to the world.

I volunteered for a PhD research project at NIMHANS studying the impact of yoga on the brain. It is fascinating to see modern science validate the profound effects of these ancient practices on our cognitive functions and well-being.

In my studio, the presence of my Guru is a constant reminder of the source of this knowledge. Every teacher is first a volunteer, willing to offer their best with faith in the process and love for the participants.

A happy moment with my favorites during the last days of Hatha Yoga teacher training. The bonds we formed here are for life.

More fun and laughter from our teacher training days. The joy and camaraderie we shared are an integral part of the yogic path.

A selfie with my Hatha bunch during our training. The shared meals and moments of connection are just as important as the intense Sadhana.

A side view of the EEG setup during the NIMHANS research. I believe integrating yoga with modern medicine is crucial, and I am happy to contribute to research that provides substantial, scientific results.

Another group photo from our memorable teacher training days. This community of practitioners is a powerful support system.

Anand Alai, a wave of bliss, happened today. A community gathering to celebrate and share the joy of the practice.

About The Yogic Path & Community

When you join a class here, you aren't just a student. You become part of a Sangha. We don't just practice and leave. We share meals, discuss the challenges of sustaining a daily Sadhana, and support each other through the inevitable slumps. Being in a group doesn't distract from the inner work; it amplifies it. This is why our community sessions—whether it's a weekend correction or a casual gathering—feel less like a gym class and more like a collective retreat.

The Power of Sangha

Yoga is often marketed as a solitary activity, but the energy of a group—the Sangha—is a different force altogether. In my studio in Doddakallasandra, we focus on creating a space where the atmosphere is conducive to silence. It is not about looking at each other, but about the collective commitment to the process. When you practice alongside others who are also striving to deepen their own Sadhana, the effort changes. It becomes more stable, more consistent.

Life Off the Mat

I often tell my students: the mat is just where you start. The real practice happens in how you handle a Tuesday morning deadline, what you choose to eat, and how you sit with your own thoughts. My approach to teaching is to ensure that what we learn in the consecrated space of the studio flows into your daily life. This is why I emphasize diet, sleep routines, and simple lifestyle adjustments. If the body is tight, the mind follows. If the body is at ease, the possibilities open up.

Beyond the Poses

My journey took me from coding and math to the hills and finally here, to teaching. I have volunteered for research at NIMHANS, not because I want to 'prove' yoga with white papers, but because I believe this ancient technology deserves to be understood in a modern context. Whether you are a beginner looking to start your journey, or an existing practitioner feeling stuck in a plateau, I am here. We can fix your alignment, talk about why your practice feels stagnant, or simply look at how to get back on track. No judgment. Just the practice.

I walked away from coding to share this science, not because I am perfect, but because the practices worked for me. I simply hold the space in my studio. The rest—the transformation, the stillness—is entirely your own work.
