Forget the mirrors and the machines. Here, it’s just the soil, the Gada, and the rhythm of a tradition that’s centuries old. Come home to real, functional strength.

This is India’s training ground. The Akhara. No mirrors, no machines, no ego. Just the Gada, the soil, and the spirit. We didn’t invent this, we just refused to forget it.

Humility, discipline, and strength. A pahalwan at the akhara, holding a traditional Mudgar. This is where our inspiration comes from.

Our modern Gada and Mudgar, placed in the sacred soil of the akhara. It's a meeting of the past and the present.

Me, in the akhara, with the tools of our ancestors. It's a humbling experience to train where generations of strongmen have trained before. This is about going deeper, to the strength we were never meant to forget.

We flew out not to start something new, but to honor the roots of strength. We came to the akhara with respect, and we left with more. This is Tagda Raho going home.

'Tagda' is a stage. A stage that is open to all, that celebrates your smallest victories, and borrows a little magic from the past. It's what your soul needs, not just your body.

Our equipment on the beach in Dubai, with the modern skyline in the background. This shows our mission: taking a thousand-year-old tradition and making it global.

Our Gada and Mudgar inside the world-famous Tiger Muay Thai gym. We are taking Indian physical culture to every corner of the fitness world.

A beautifully crafted Gada in our dugout. The sandpit in the background is our tribute to the traditional akhara.

The Tagda Raho universe of equipment. Each piece, from the Samtola to the Gada, is a link to our glorious physical culture heritage.

About Back to the Roots: The Akhara Spirit

Training in an akhara-style setup changes how you perceive weight. It isn't just about moving an object; it’s about balancing your entire body against the uneven mass of a Gada or Mudgar. You learn to handle tension and mobility in a way that standard gym machines simply cannot replicate, which is exactly how I recovered my own movement after 75% paralysis.
