Advanced Yoga Asanas & Inversions Training
Take your practice beyond the basics. Join our morning sessions in Sangam Vihar where we break down complex inversions like handstands and chin stands into achievable steps.
Here I am holding a Ganda Bherundasana, or Chin Stand. This advanced inversion is a great goal to work towards for building exceptional upper body and core strength, showing the level of skill you can achieve with disciplined practice.
This is the Adho Mukha Vrksasana, or handstand. It's a challenging and rewarding pose that we build up to safely in my classes. Mastering it improves balance, builds confidence, and strengthens your entire body.
This video shows the steps to get into a complex arm balance known as the "human knot" pose. It requires a combination of flexibility, balance, and strength, all of which we develop progressively in my sessions.
This clip shows the real practice behind achieving advanced poses like headstands and arm balances. It's not about getting it perfect the first time, but about the consistent effort and discipline we cultivate in every class.
About Advanced Asanas & Inversions
Getting into a handstand or a chin stand isn't about raw luck or natural flexibility. In my classes, we spend weeks building the shoulder stability and core control needed to hold these poses safely. You won't just see me demo a pose and walk away; we will work on the specific drills, like wrist strengthening and wall-assisted holds, that actually get you off the ground.
How We Train
We use a mix of Hatha and Power Yoga fundamentals to get you there. You will learn the 'Human Knot' or 'Ganda Bherundasana' not by forcing it, but through a systematic build-up. We start with conditioning, pushing your stamina with flows that raise your heart rate, before moving into the technical work of inversions.
The Environment
Our studio in Sangam Vihar is functional. No AC, no fancy gimmicks. Just shock-absorbent EVA foam mats, disciplined students, and morning sessions that start at 6 AM. This setup forces you to focus. When you are sweaty and tired, your mind stops overthinking, which is exactly when you learn to balance.
Why Build Inversions?
Advanced yoga is not just a party trick. Mastering a headstand or a chin stand requires mastering your own fear and focus. If you are tired of generic stretching classes that do not push your limits, this is the place to be. Whether you are aiming for your first unsupported handstand or refining your arm balances, the path is the same: consistency and sweat. We do not do hobby classes here; we do training.
