A second home is more than a getaway; it is a quiet place to reconnect. From coastal escapes in the Konkan to lakeside retreats in Nashik, we design spaces that respect the land and invite stillness.

A top-down view of the living area in Maison Rouge, a family vacation home in the Konkan belt. The design balances contemporary details with traditional materials, creating an oasis that connects the family to their ancestral roots.

The Pavilion House in Nashik is designed as a low-lying structure that merges with the landscape. This view shows how the living space opens onto a stone patio, creating a seamless flow between the interior and the serene backwaters of Lake Beze.

In Maison Rouge, we used reclaimed timber and local stone to create a rustic yet refined aesthetic. This simple wooden cabinet with a marble top exemplifies the project's balance of contemporary planning with traditional, vernacular materials.

The living room of the Grove House in Alibaug features a high, pitched roof and floor-to-ceiling glass doors. This design maximizes natural light and offers expansive views of the tropical garden, creating a perfect weekend retreat for family gatherings.

A quiet corner in the Grove House bedroom, where a comfortable armchair is perfectly positioned to enjoy the view of the lush garden. The design prioritizes connection to nature, making it an ideal space for relaxation.

This corridor in Pavilion House acts as a tranquil transition space. The minimalist design, with its monochrome palette and focus on light and shadow, creates a meditative journey through the home, connecting the public and private wings.

The landscape design for Pavilion House features local flagstones and arid-climate plants. This detail shows our commitment to creating designs that are sensitive to the context and celebrate the natural beauty of the site.

Light filters through sheer curtains in the living room of Pavilion House. The design uses expansive glass and a textured, exposed concrete ceiling to create a space that feels both open to the elements and securely sheltered.

A view from the minimalist kitchen into the entryway of Pavilion House. The design uses clean lines and a monochrome palette, with a custom wooden console adding a touch of warmth and organic texture to the space.

We introduced a playful burst of color in this Pavilion House bedroom with a custom-designed blue and red wardrobe. This element adds a youthful touch to the otherwise minimalist and monochrome aesthetic of the home.

About Retreats & Second Homes

When we approach a second home, we look at the landscape before we draw a single line. For the Pavilion House in Nashik, we chose a low-lying form specifically to preserve the views for neighbors, ensuring the architecture feels like a natural extension of the site rather than an imposition. It is this sensitivity to your specific plot—whether it is a coastal property or a quiet hillside—that defines how we help you build your sanctuary.
