About Singathon: Our Annual Singing Competition
Think you aren't a 'pro' singer? That is exactly who this is for. My Singathon events are not about finding the next superstar. They are about finding your voice, performing with 'bhaav' (emotion), and helping a cause. Whether you are a bathroom singer or a hobbyist, if you can sing from your heart, you have a spot on our stage.
Singathon is my way of showing that music is not about perfection. It is about joy and connection. Each year, we host this competition in Mumbai and Pune with a specific 'sing for a cause' mission, where all proceeds are donated to meaningful initiatives like supporting pediatric cancer patients or martyrs' families.
Why Participate?
We break down the barriers of traditional singing competitions. There is no harsh judgment here. We have categories for everyone—from children aged 8 to 14 to adults of all ages. You get to perform on a real stage, often in front of professional guest judges, and receive genuine, constructive feedback rather than just scores. It is the perfect opportunity to shed stage fear, build confidence, and share your love for Bollywood, light music, or bhajans with a supportive audience.
What to Expect
- Categories: Separate sections for Junior (8-14 years) and Senior/Adult performers.
- Support: We provide printed lyric sheets, mic handling tips, and practice sessions to ensure you feel comfortable before you step on stage.
