About Singing for Beginners (Adults)
Why I Teach Singing
I believe gaana chaahiye (singing is a must), whether you think you can sing or not. For 20 years, I’ve helped adults who feel too shy or unsure about their voice. If you’ve got a song stuck inside, I want to help you let it out.
For the “35% Wale” (Those Who Doubt Their Voice)
If you’ve ever thought, maza na awaaz changla nahiyet (my voice isn’t good), you’re not alone. Most of my students start here. My classes are all about building singing confidence for shy adults. No judgment, just support.
Singing Is About ‘Bhaav’ (Emotion)
My guru always said, bhaav is everything. We don’t chase perfect notes or aim for playback fame. We focus on expressive singing techniques and finding joy in music. Singing is therapy, not a competition.
What We’ll Do Together
- Basics of sur (melody) and taal (rhythm)
- Simple breathing exercises
- Connecting with lyrics and mood
- Bollywood karaoke for beginners, light music, bhajans
Classes are relaxed, fun, and designed for adult beginners. Online or offline in Dadar, Mumbai - whatever suits you.
My Promise
Gaat raha, khush raha, aanandi raha (keep singing, stay happy, stay joyful). If you want to sing for yourself or at a party, you’ll find your voice here.

My Story
Namaskar! Mi Manasi Kelkar Tambe. Yes, my mother sings brilliantly, but my awaaz (voice) is not like hers - asthma made it hasky. People always compared, but my guru Patki ji said, 'tuza bhaav khup changla' (your emotion is your strength). I teach those who feel singing isn't for them. Anybody Can Sing, it's about joy, not perfection. Sagli dukha palun jaatat (all sorrows run away) when you sing from the heart. That's Swarmaanas.
