About Learning the Art: Techniques & Workshops

It isn't just about hitting the notes. In these sessions, we focus heavily on diaphragmatic breathing and voice modulation, which are the real secrets to preventing voice strain. You will learn how to hold a microphone properly and project your voice, turning a bathroom hobby into a performance-ready skill.

Building Your Confidence

Many students come to me thinking they cannot sing because they were told their voice was not 'good enough'. My technique workshops are designed to break that belief. We focus on the basics of Sur (melody) and Taal (rhythm) not as rigid rules, but as tools that give you the freedom to express yourself.

What We Cover in Our Workshops

  • Breathing & Stamina: We start with simple diaphragmatic exercises to improve lung capacity, which makes singing less tiring and more resonant.
  • Voice Modulation: Learn how to add 'Bhaav' (emotion) to your singing. This is what separates a singer from a performer.
  • Genre Exploration: Whether it is the soulful depth of a Ghazal or the vibrant rhythm of a Lavani, we teach the specific techniques required for different genres.
  • Stage Presence: We work on mic holding techniques and how to connect with your audience, making sure you feel comfortable performing in front of others.

Learning Formats

We offer both offline classes in Dadar West and online sessions for those who cannot travel. Whether you are a total beginner or looking to refine your style, these workshops provide a structured environment to build your foundation. Our classes are all about joy—gaana chaahiye, no matter the skill level.

I'm Manasi. I’ve spent two decades teaching people who thought they couldn't sing because their voice wasn't 'perfect'. My classes aren't about textbooks or exams, but about feeling the music and finding the joy that comes with it.
