Our Singing Community and Milestones
Swarmaanas is more than a class. It is a space where singers of all ages and professions come together to celebrate music, perform on stage, and support each other's journeys.
A fun, spontaneous announcement for our new online batch. My students are always ready for some fun and music, even when promoting a class.

An informational poster for our "Anybody Can Sing" workshop in Pune. These workshops are a great introduction to my teaching philosophy.
About Community and Milestones
It is not just about learning notes here. Whether you are a student or a working professional, our annual Singathon events bring everyone onto one stage to perform. Seeing an advocate and a teenager share the same spotlight is what Swarmaanas is all about—we are here to celebrate your progress, not judge your talent.
At Swarmaanas, I realized long ago that singing alone is good, but singing together is therapeutic. My classes are structured to foster a non-judgmental environment, which is why I started the Singathon competition to help students move from the classroom to a real stage.
Our community is diverse. We have participants from age 15 to 80, including writers, police officers, teachers, and students. When you join, you are not just a student; you become part of a support system. We focus on:
- Stage Confidence: Getting comfortable with the mic and performing in front of a live audience.
- Shared Growth: Learning from peers during our group karaoke sessions.
- Giving Back: We often host events for causes, such as our Singathon seasons which have raised funds for martyrs' families.
Whether you want to join our weekly recreational group or aim for the annual stage performance, you will find a welcoming space. We keep our groups small to ensure everyone gets attention. You can join us for online batches from anywhere or visit our studio in Dadar, Mumbai. The goal is simple: sing, be happy, and share that joy.
