Custom Pet Portraits That Capture Their Personality
Our pets are family, and I love turning their quirks and joy into art. From your goofy dog to your shy cat, I paint them all with love.
A group portrait of some very good boys and girls, framed and ready to ship! I can combine photos of multiple pets to create a single, happy scene like this one.
Watch as this group of happy dogs comes to life on my sketchbook. I use gouache and acrylics to build up the layers of fur and capture their joyful expressions.
A close-up of a commissioned portrait of Rio, a sweet Shih Tzu. I focus on the eyes and fur texture to make the portrait feel lifelike and full of personality.
This piece combines two styles: a detailed pencil sketch of a Labrador set against a vibrant, abstract watercolor background. It’s a unique way to create a memorial pet portrait.
This sweet Golden Retriever was the "paw-some witness" at a wedding! I painted this piece to be included in the couple's wedding album, a beautiful reminder of their furry family member.
A simple and sweet portrait of a puppy named Happy on a small, round canvas. The bright yellow background makes his adorable face shine.
The goofy, lovable personality of Mika the dog is captured in this fun portrait. I love painting pets with their tongues out and ears flopping!
About this collection
I don't just copy a photo; I try to catch that specific head tilt or the way their tongue sticks out. If you have multiple pets, I can combine them from separate photos into one cohesive piece, so nobody gets left out of the frame.
Every pet has a distinct personality, and that is what I strive to highlight in my work. Whether it is the curious look in a Shih Tzu's eyes or the happy, open-mouthed grin of a Labrador, those small details make the portrait feel real.
My Process
I work primarily with two mediums, depending on the look you want:
- Graphite Pencil Sketches: These offer a classic, timeless feel. They are perfect for bringing out the texture of fur and capturing deep, expressive eyes.
- Acrylic Canvas Paintings: If you want something vibrant, acrylics are the way to go. I use heavy-body paints to build depth and color, and we can play with backgrounds—whether you want a solid color that makes your pet pop or a scenic, floral setting.
How to Commission
Send me a few clear, high-resolution photos of your pet. If you are looking for a memorial piece or want to group your pets together, I can merge subjects from different photos into one composition. We will discuss the vibe you are looking for before I start. I ship securely across India from my Bengaluru art corner, using reinforced packaging to ensure your portrait arrives in perfect condition.
