I know getting a pet to sit perfectly for a photo is mission impossible, so I work with your favorite candid shots to sketch their unique personality. Whether it’s that goofy tilt of the head or their soulful eyes, I use artist-grade charcoal and graphite to capture the spirit of your best friend on paper. You get an original, hand-drawn piece, not a digital print, that really feels like them.
When you commission a pet portrait, you aren't just getting a drawing. You are getting a piece of original art created with graphite and charcoal on acid-free, artist-grade cartridge paper. I don't use AI or digital shortcuts for these; every stroke is hand-drawn, capturing the specific quirks of your pet—like that one ear that always flops or the way they look when they're begging for treats.
How we make it happen
- Pick the perfect photo: Send me a clear, well-lit photo. If you have a few options, I can help you pick the one that will look best as a sketch.
- The process: Once we settle on the reference, I start the sketching process. I focus on bringing out those distinct features that make your pet unique.
- Approval: I always share a digital photo of the final sketch before I ship it out, so you know exactly what is coming your way.
Why a hand-drawn sketch?
Unlike digital prints, a physical graphite sketch has a texture and depth that adds character to any space. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate a new puppy, honor a pet who has been with you for years, or gift a fellow pet parent something truly personal. Whether you are in Bangalore or anywhere else in India, I make sure the drawing is protected in a rigid tube and shipped safely to your doorstep. If you need something for digital use—like a phone wallpaper or merchandise—I also do high-resolution digital illustrations using a stylus, completely hand-drawn as well.
