Beyond my main portraits, I love capturing the little things. From moody Bengaluru rainy days to vibrant still-life studies, these are my personal explorations on canvas and paper.

"Lost in the Horizon," a 10x10 inch acrylic painting of a lone boat at sunset. This serene seascape is available for purchase.

A vibrant 6x8 inch acrylic painting capturing the magic of a sundown over the water. This limited edition piece is perfect for landscape lovers.

Freshly baked with my color pencils! This realistic croissant drawing has zero calories but all the satisfaction.

Testing out my new Staedtler color pencils with some mini drawings of blueberries, a lily, and pancakes.

A simple and elegant painting of white tulips on paper, a study in light, shadow, and form.

The Bengaluru weather inspired this moody painting of a rainy day, complete with two cups of coffee by the window.

A satisfying time-lapse of drawing realistic blueberries with color pencils, showing the layering process.

About this collection

I treat these smaller pieces as my personal creative playground. Whether it is experimenting with the texture of Staedtler color pencils on a realistic croissant sketch or capturing the exact mood of a rainy afternoon in Bengaluru, every piece here is a reflection of what I am currently feeling or learning.

These pieces represent my creative flow when I am not working on client commissions. They range from quick food studies, like my realistic blueberry and croissant drawings, to serene landscapes like my 10x10 inch seascapes. I use these projects to test new mediums and techniques, which eventually influences the quality and depth I bring to your commissioned work.

My process for these involves:

  • Food and Still Life: I love finding beauty in the everyday. These pencil sketches focus on layering and texture to make simple objects look vibrant and appetizing without the calories.
  • Landscape Studies: From sunset reflections to the gray, cozy skies of a Bengaluru rainstorm, I aim to capture the atmosphere rather than just the scenery.
  • Tools and Mediums: You will see a lot of variety here, from heavy-body acrylics that build texture on gallery-wrapped canvas to the precise, fine-line work possible with high-quality color pencils.

All these explorations are available for purchase if you find one that speaks to you. If you have an idea for a unique, smaller-scale artwork or a specific concept you want to see realized, feel free to reach out. I love collaborating on projects that are a bit off the beaten path.
