About Bollywood & Punjabi Jam Sessions
For these jam sessions, I don't just show up with backing tracks. My band—featuring guitar, dhol, flute, and percussion—performs entirely live. Because we focus on audience interaction and real-time requests, we keep the setlist flexible, allowing us to pivot from a romantic ghazal to a high-tempo dance track depending on what the crowd needs at that moment.
This is the essence of Andaaz-e-Raman. We treat every performance like a live concert, not background music. Whether you are hosting an intimate Roka ceremony or a massive corporate event, the energy is personal and tailored to the room.
We divide our performance style into two distinct setups. For those wanting a sophisticated atmosphere, we offer an acoustic 'Mehfil' experience with instruments like the Cajon, Tabla, and Violin, focusing on Sufi kalams and classic Bollywood. For Sangeet nights or festivals where the goal is to get people dancing, we bring the full electric band with a dedicated Dhol player, drums, and lead guitars for a high-octane set.
Logistically, we bring our own instruments, but we do require a professional sound setup from the venue side. Because the quality of our performance relies on clear sound, we ask clients to share their audio technician’s details so we can align on our technical rider before the event. We are based in Delhi NCR but are happy to travel across India to bring our vibe to your stage.
