How I Work
I stick to a holistic approach. No dividing architecture, structure, lighting, and interiors into separate parts - I combine everything so the space works as a whole. I’m big on using technology like BIM modeling in interior design, which lets me shape sculptural forms and test every tiny detail before the project starts.
What Inspires My Spaces
- Commercial & Public: Spaces are made to leave an impression and echo brand identity. Think mirrored, sculptural ceilings or green courtyards that bring in natural light.
- Hospitality: For hotels and resorts, I focus on sustainable luxury interiors by using local materials and making the building part of the landscape.
- Residential: Flexible living space design is key. Homes that grow with you, indoor-outdoor flow, and a strong link to nature. Biophilic design interiors make greenery the center of the home.

My Story
We’re Amit and Britta, founders of Studio Symbiosis. Our name’s not about us—it’s about how everything connects. We started out in Stuttgart, hopped over to London, now Delhi and Mumbai. We geek out on tech like BIM, not just for us but to work better with folks. You’ll catch us at design fests, talking shop, or judging. For us, architecture’s solving real problems—like making earthquake-ready towers or cleaning city air with our Verto tower.
