A design is a journey of collaboration. Meet the people behind our studio and see how we turn initial sketches into finished, soulful homes.

A new year and a new chapter for us at Studio Ipsa. We are always looking forward, excited to design more fantastic spaces and share more of our passion with the world. This is us, Sonal and Aniketh, in a recently completed home.

This is us in our element, surrounded by the textures and materials of a recently completed project. We believe in creating spaces that are different yet deeply rooted in a story, and we're excited to share this home with you soon.

A project is never the work of just two people. This is our incredible team of designers, site supervisors, and craftsmen who helped bring the 'Prangan' project to life. Their dedication and skill are the backbone of everything we do.

It's been a while, so we just wanted to say hello. This is us, Sonal and Aniketh, at a recently completed project site. We are the founders and lead designers at Studio Ipsa, and we pour our hearts into every space we create.

Every great design starts with a simple sketch. Our process always involves brainstorming and sketching out ideas, whether on paper or a tablet, to resolve details and explore possibilities before moving forward.

Details matter, even for a door frame. For a weekend home project, we went through a process of brainstorming, sketching, and sampling different profiles for the door frames to find the one that was perfectly satisfying.

Our design process is highly collaborative, especially with our clients. This video shows a material selection session with clients who flew in for the day, where we explored veneers, fabric laminates, and woven cane to define the palette for their home.

We were incredibly humbled and motivated to receive the "Crusader of Indian Design" award from GoodHomes Magazine. It is an honor to be recognized for our commitment to creating designs that are both contemporary and rooted in Indian craftsmanship.

Presenting our project 'Kābu' at the WADE ASIA awards. We submitted this minimalist, texture-focused home for the "Best Use of Colour" category, confident that our nuanced and pure approach to a muted palette would be understood and appreciated.

We won Gold! Sonal holding our WADE ASIA award for 'Kābu'. We are so happy and grateful to the jury for recognizing the quiet confidence and subtle beauty of this home's color story.

About Our Process & People

You won't find cookie-cutter templates here. Our design process is hands-on and transparent, often involving you in material selection trips to vendor showrooms to pick the right veneer or fabric. Whether we are sketching out door frame details or supervising work on-site, we stay involved from the first concept to the final handover.
