This 550-seat auditorium at Sri Kumaran School is a testament to what's possible when education embraces the arts. We designed this grand space not just to host performances, but to elevate them with professional-grade acoustics, intelligent lighting, and state-of-the-art AV systems, creating a truly immersive experience for both performers and the audience.
We believe play is serious learning. This soft-gym is designed for exploration and energy, with custom-built structures like a rolling wheel and climbing wall that encourage kids to be strong, quick, and adventurous. The dynamic design and vibrant colors create a space where children can truly thrive.
Welcome to the dream library we created for the nursery students at Sri Kumaran School. With whimsical reading pods, a central tree-like structure, and cozy, curved seating, this space is designed to make reading a magical adventure. It’s a sunlit, gentle world built to nurture bright little minds.
Learning doesn't stop at the classroom door. In the school's dining area, we used large, engaging wall graphics to tell stories about nutrition and healthy habits. This visual storytelling turns mealtime into a fun, educational experience, gently teaching children about balanced diets and immunity boosters.
A library is the heart of a school. For the older students, we designed a light-filled, classic library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and quiet study areas. The design balances traditional warmth with modern functionality, creating an inviting and inspiring environment for focused learning and discovery.
Who says washrooms have to be boring? We brought a sense of playfulness to every corner of the school, including the washrooms, with these custom pixel-art tile murals. Each floor features a different friendly animal, turning a simple space into a delightful surprise.
We translate a school's ethos into its physical space. This interactive "Value Quotient" word search puzzle in the corridor is a perfect example. It's a simple, engaging way to embed core values like commitment, empathy, and integrity into the students' daily journey through the school.
About this collection
We do not just fill rooms with furniture; we design for how people move through a space. Notice how the kindergarten classrooms in our projects move away from standard plastic options, using modular birch-ply that teachers can reconfigure daily. It is about creating flexibility that evolves with the class, ensuring every corner—from the pixel-art tiled washrooms to the soft-gym—serves a real, functional purpose.
Designing with Rūh (Soul)
For us, design is about more than aesthetics. It is about capturing the vibe of a space so that when you walk in, you feel the intent behind every wall, floor, and corner. Whether we are transforming a quiet corridor into a value-based learning zone or building an auditorium that sounds as good as it looks, our process stays the same: we listen, we sketch, and we build with purpose.
Practical, Student-Focused Spaces
When we take on institutional projects like the work we did at Sri Kumaran School, our focus is on longevity and health. We avoid cheap plastics in favor of sustainable materials like Baltic Birch Plywood, which is non-toxic, durable, and warmer to the touch. The furniture we design is modular, meaning it adapts to the day-to-day needs of teachers and students rather than forcing them to adapt to the furniture.
The Details That Matter
We believe the magic is in the small, often overlooked moments. We use wayfinding graphics on stairwells, interactive puzzles in common areas, and custom pixel-art tile work in washrooms to make a school feel like a friendly, engaging environment. For us, every square foot should be an opportunity to encourage curiosity and joy.
