Step into 11 Grams, where we blended old-world European charm with modern restraint to create a space that feels like a warm, inviting embrace.
The main service counter at 11 Grams is crafted from white marble with delicate scalloped wood trim and brass details. The design ensures operational flow while serving as a beautiful centerpiece, complemented by a custom pale green espresso machine.
This view shows the interplay of textures and reflections within the cafe. A large, curved mirror expands the space and reflects the custom fringed lighting, while the fluted wood table base and gingham chairs add layers of detail.

Detail is everything. This custom shelving unit combines brass supports, scalloped wood shelves, and a green marble backdrop, creating an elegant display for coffee equipment and decor that is both functional and beautiful.

The cafe uses a tactile palette, pale sage, custom gingham, and marble, to craft an atmosphere that feels intentionally slow. We focused on custom details like scalloped timber cornices and brass-finished shelving to ensure every corner serves as a functional display while maintaining an intimate, residential warmth.
At 11 Grams, we treated the interior as a narrative rather than a standard commercial layout. The challenge was to balance the demands of a high-traffic cafe with an aesthetic that feels like a home. We used a muted palette of pale sage and milky neutrals to expand the visual volume, ensuring the space feels open despite its compact footprint.
We avoided standard commercial finishes throughout the design process. Instead, we worked with skilled local craftsmen to fabricate custom scalloped timber cornices and brass-finished shelving that anchors the room. The marble service counter, complete with fluted wood detailing, serves as the operational heart of the cafe. It was designed to facilitate a smooth flow for staff while remaining a striking focal point for customers.
Lighting is crucial in our projects. We bypassed generic overhead solutions in favor of custom cane pendants with fabric shades, creating a soft, warm glow that enhances the tactile experience. Every element, from the gingham-upholstered benches to the hand-painted murals, was chosen to evoke nostalgia and comfort.
