Project Showcase: Kate & Oscar Kids Boutique
We designed this children’s boutique to feel like a quiet escape within the bustling Phoenix Mall of Asia, using soft arches and warm rose gold accents to welcome both parents and little ones.

This angle showcases the layered display system. The rose gold clothing racks are designed with graceful curves, and the multi-level shelving provides flexible merchandising options while maintaining a light, airy feel.
The focal point behind the checkout counter features the store's logo against a custom-painted mural of delicate florals and birds. This element introduces a touch of artistry and reinforces the brand's gentle, nature-inspired identity.

About Project Showcase: Kate & Oscar Kids Boutique
Designing a boutique for children meant balancing playfulness with the sophistication parents expect. We used rose gold metalwork for the display racks not just for aesthetics, but to create a light, airy structure that guides customers through the store, keeping the floor plan open and the sightlines clear.
Our approach to the Kate & Oscar project went beyond simple retail layout. We focused on creating a narrative-driven environment where every corner feels intentional. By integrating archways throughout the store, we introduced a rhythm that draws the eye upward, making the footprint feel more expansive than it actually is.
The Design Elements
- Materiality: The choice of rose gold for the metal fixtures adds a touch of elegance that contrasts beautifully with the soft, neutral paint palette. We paired this with herringbone flooring to add warmth and tactile depth to the ground plane.
- Lighting Strategy: Lighting in retail is often functional, but here we treated it as an atmospheric tool. By using soft, cove-integrated LEDs, we ensured the clothing displays are well-lit without harsh shadows, maintaining the serene, dreamy vibe of the boutique.
- The Focal Point: The custom hand-painted mural behind the reception counter acts as a soft brand anchor. It reinforces the nature-inspired identity of the store while subtly signaling to the customer that they have entered a thoughtful, curated retail space.
