We believe architecture is a dialogue, not a monologue. Explore how we bridge the gap between classroom theory and on-site reality through mentorship, hands-on learning, and community co-creation.

I believe the role of an architect is not just to design, but to be a facilitator, a matchmaker connecting people, places, and their stories. This philosophy is at the core of our educational approach, where we empower communities and students to become stewards of their own heritage.

This is what our hands-on internship is all about. An intern stands on scaffolding at a live restoration site, reviewing architectural plans. We believe in learning by doing, and our interns gain invaluable experience in practical site management and conservation techniques.

Mentorship is a dialogue. Here, I am guiding a group of urban design students through a policy-making exercise, using maps and sticky notes to visualize complex ideas. Our workshops are interactive sessions focused on collaborative problem solving and co-creation.

We created 'The Restoration Toolbox' to make heritage conservation accessible to everyone. This collection of DIY manuals covers a range of materials from stone masonry to stained glass, providing practical, step-by-step guidance for homeowners and enthusiasts.

Sharing our experiences from India on an international stage at the IHBC Annual School. I believe that for conservation to be relevant, it must adapt to the specific needs of climate, culture, and community, a message that resonates with practitioners globally.

A glimpse into a performance workshop held in the black box theatre we designed at Woodstock School. This project is a prime example of adaptive reuse, transforming a former design lab into a contemporary performance space within a heritage building.

A proud moment with the clients, students, and young professionals at the restored Verdun House in Mussoorie. This project, part of our Restoration Clinic, shows the power of collaboration in bringing a dilapidated colonial bungalow back to life.

The words of our interns are the truest measure of our success. This testimonial from an Urban Design Intern from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, reflects the profound impact of our mentorship and vision on emerging professionals.

About Featured

Our approach to architecture is hands-on and immersive, moving far beyond the classroom. When you join our programs or internships, you are not an observer; you are part of the site team, reviewing architectural plans on scaffolding, mapping urban policy, or testing out 'jugaad' solutions for real-world heritage restoration.
