Our vision for the Solina Silk Factory in Srinagar, where we introduced a modern sculptural staircase and comfortable lounge area within the original industrial brick structure. This space is designed to be a central hub, blending heritage conservation with contemporary community life.

We reimagined the exterior of the Reshamkhana (Solina Silk Factory) as a lively public courtyard. This rendering shows how the preserved industrial heritage buildings now frame a new space for community interaction, outdoor cafes, and cultural events.

For the Appaswamy Arcus project in Chennai, we drew inspiration from the city's rich architectural history. This design concept highlights our approach to creating modern residential spaces that are deeply rooted in their traditional context.

We were honored to receive the Commendation Trophy at the Indian Institute of Architects Nationals for our Nirbhaya Center project. This award is a testament to our team's collaborative effort in creating meaningful public architecture.

When we approach an old building, we don't just see a site to renovate. We see a conversation between what was there and what could be. Whether it is the industrial heritage of the Solina Silk Factory or a new public institution, our process starts by mapping the existing structural DNA before we sketch a single line. This light-filled student lounge at Woodstock School, transformed from a previously underused space, embodies my approach. By introducing a large skylight and using a student-centric design, we created a vibrant, modern hub for learning and interaction within a 165-year-old heritage building.10
The power of restoration is in the reveal. This before-and-after of the Verdun House in Mussoorie, part of our pro-bono Restoration Clinic, shows how we can revive a dilapidated colonial bungalow, restoring its original wooden windows and ceilings to bring back warmth and light.
We transformed this 19th-century haveli in Old Delhi into a contemporary home, proving that heritage spaces can be adapted for modern luxury. The restored black and white marble flooring, grand chandelier, and carefully curated furniture create a living space that is both historic and elegant.

My work seeks to create spaces that are alive. Here at IF.BE, the revived 147-year-old ice factory, the central courtyard becomes a stage for performance, a place where the community can gather and engage with art, history, and each other under the gaze of a resurrected banyan tree.8
In the restoration of the Wageshwar Temple, the goal was not simply to rebuild, but to draw light into its ancient heart. These shafts of sunlight are not an accident; they are a deliberate part of the design, creating a direct and moving connection between the structure and the spirit.
This graphic shows the anatomy of our intervention. It illustrates the surgical retrofits and structural supports needed to stabilize the old ice factory, blending technical drawings with before and after imagery. It is a map of how we suture the 'Found' to the 'Made' with both respect and precision.

This is the vision for a 250-year-old heritage home in Alibaug, which we are transforming into a modern café. Our design respects its history while creating a welcoming space that blends into the lush landscape, showing how old structures can find new purpose.7
We designed this serene veranda to be a bridge between the café's interior and the natural world outside. The combination of warm wood, patterned tiles, and soft lighting creates a tranquil setting for guests to relax and enjoy the view.
An intimate nook within the Alibaug café, designed to evoke a sense of calm and warmth. Through the use of arched doorways and earthy textures, we created a series of interconnected spaces that feel both cozy and open, inviting quiet moments.

This is our Hoverspace project, an office extension designed to float above a 50-year-old building. This night view captures the dialogue between the new structure and the existing campus, creating a new identity for the organization while respecting its history.10
The KLE Centenary Museum at dusk, where restored heritage architecture meets new landscape interventions. The interplay of light, water, and structure creates a serene public plaza, transforming a historic site into a vibrant urban space.
This is the starting point for one of our current commissions: the restoration of a significant Art Deco building designed by Claude Batley. We approach such projects with a deep contextual study to preserve the structure's soul while adapting it for contemporary family life.
The staircase in our Boxed In House project, fabricated from teakwood recycled from the original demolished structure. This element is a centerpiece of the design, demonstrating our commitment to material sustainability and bespoke craftsmanship in residential architecture.
