I transform solid sandstone and marble into glowing feature walls and statement art by integrating hidden lighting. Whether you want a spiritual focal point or modern ambient lighting, I turn raw stone into a dynamic light source.

A look at our renovated experience center, featuring the large backlit stone rose. The warm light enhances the depth of the carved petals, creating a dramatic and inviting focal point.

Here you can see a backlit natural stone panel being installed. The geometric pattern is carved to a specific thickness, allowing light to pass through and create a beautiful, glowing effect.

This is a unique mirror I designed for a rustic-themed washroom. The sandstone is manually split to create a raw, natural frame, and the integrated backlighting makes it a standout piece. It is paired with a freestanding basin carved from solid granite.

The power of a spotlight. Here, a backlit Ganesha idol becomes the serene focal point of the room, creating a tranquil and spiritual atmosphere in the dark.

This is a work-in-progress shot of a large-scale project. It features a parametric 3D wall and custom star-shaped backlit sconces that add a celestial touch to the staircase wall.

A finished view of the backlit star-shaped lights along a staircase. These custom fixtures provide ambient lighting while serving as unique decorative elements that complement the modern interior.

This shows the creation of a custom backlit backdrop for a Panchmukhi Hanuman idol. The intricate radial pattern is carved and prepared for LED lighting to create a divine halo effect.

Butterflies symbolize transformation, and I've captured that feeling in this stone wall art. The piece features a butterfly against a backdrop of sunflowers, with integrated lighting to bring the entire scene to life.

People often ask if sandstone is suitable for outdoors. Here are my sandstone lanterns in my own garden during a heavy downpour. They have been here for three years, proving that natural stone is durable and weatherproof.

Stone lanterns, or 'Ishidoro', are not just for aesthetics; they also have significance in Vastu. Placed correctly in a landscape, they can balance energy, create a tranquil ambiance, and serve as a beautiful focal point.

About Backlit Masterpieces: Stone Meets Light

I don't just place lights behind a stone slab. I calculate the carving depth and density specifically so the light bleeds through the pattern with an organic, soft glow rather than harsh glare. We drill hidden conduit paths directly into the stone blocks for all wiring, ensuring your wall remains clean and uncluttered without any exposed cables.
