Bring a glow to your walls with custom backlit mandalas. Whether you want a layered, 3D piece or a modern design that floats, I create art that defines your space.

The final look of the layered and backlit mandala. The warm light creates a halo effect, highlighting the intricate details and making the artwork float off the wall.

Brighter and better. This backlit mandala is a showstopper, combining detailed freehand drawing with modern lighting to create a truly unique piece of wall decor.

A close up of the details on the layered mandala. The design is split between two circular boards, creating a sense of depth and a crescent moon shape in the negative space.

This unique project was a challenge I loved. The concept of a layered mandala, where one circle sits atop another, creates a modern and dynamic look.

A custom peacock themed mandala designed to be installed on the ceiling. The unique shape and vibrant green and white colors make it a stunning and unexpected feature.

About this collection

These installations combine art with functional lighting to create a warm, floating effect. Since they require a power source, we work together to find the perfect spot near an electrical point. I handle the drilling, wiring, and heavy-duty mounting, so you get a finished look without the hassle of setting up the hardware yourself.

How We Bring Your Vision to Life

Every backlit project starts with a conversation. Since these are high-impact pieces, I need to understand the vibe of your room—the lighting, the furniture, and the mood you want to set.

1. Design & Mockups We begin with a digital draft. I superimpose the design on a photo of your wall so you can see exactly how the scale and pattern will look before I cut a single piece of wood. We finalize the color palette—whether you want monochrome, gold leaf, or something more vibrant—during this phase.

2. Fabrication I craft these pieces in my studio using high-density, water-resistant MDF or HDHMR. This ensures the structure is durable and won't warp over time. I hand-paint the mandala details using professional acrylics and metallic liners, finishing each piece with a protective clear coat that makes it easy to wipe down.

3. Lighting & Installation This is where the magic happens. We integrate warm LED strips behind the panel to create that signature halo effect.

Practical Details

  • Timeline: Because these are labor-intensive, please account for 3 to 4 weeks from design finalization to installation.
  • Logistics: I am based in Pune but travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and beyond for installations. If you are outside these areas, we can discuss secure crating and shipping options.
  • Power: The installation requires a standard electrical connection. I include the driver and mounting hardware so everything is ready to glow the moment we finish.
