15-Day Foundation Summer Camp

- 40% focus on athletic conditioning: Ladder drills, cone agility, planks, and squats.
- Technical basics: Grip variations, 6-corner shadow footwork, and serving mechanics.
- Uses Nylon Mavis 350 shuttles for durability.

- Held at partner school halls or housing society courts (often tiled/stone flooring).
- Internal mini-tournament for match exposure.

1-Week Advanced Skills Clinic
Infrastructure & Equipment
- Hosted on premium wooden courts with BWF-standard synthetic mats for impact protection.
- Uses Feather Shuttles (Duck/Goose grade) to teach flight control and net spin.
- Low student-to-coach ratio (approx 1:6) for personalized attention.
Technical Drills
- Multi-feed pressure drills for reaction time (Smash, Net Tap, Lift rotations).
- Spot correction of stroke mechanics using video analysis.
- Tactical training on doubles rotation and service return placement.

Why Our Camps Hit Different
School break is here, and we get it - nobody wants to waste the holidays just chilling at home. I run badminton camps that are all about getting kids moving, learning fast, and having actual fun. We go hard, but everyone leaves with a smile and probably a sore leg or two.
What Happens at Camp
- Structured sessions packed with drills, real matches, and loads of action.
- Led by coaches who know their stuff (yep, our main guys are NIS-certified).
- We train during summer holidays and other long breaks, so you don't miss out during school time.
Who’s It For?
Mostly kids and juniors, from absolute newbies to those who already know a smash from a drop shot. We group by age, so a 7-year-old isn’t up against a 15-year-old. Everything starts with the basics, then we crank it up.
Day-to-Day: Real Talk
First thing - warm-up is non-negotiable. Expect stretching, planks, shuttle runs, cone shuffles. You’ll hear us yell, "Quick feet! Pudhil thirty next!" (‘Next thirty!’ in Marathi, gotta keep it local). After that, it's all about footwork, shot practice, and match play - shadow drills, smash combos, net taps, the whole shebang.
Our Way
We don’t just teach badminton, we build dedicated players. Coaches break things down so everyone gets it, and if you mess up, we’ll fix it - one-on-one. By the end, you’ll be tired but pumped. That’s the vibe here. Keep smashing!

My Story
Back in 2009, we kicked off SP Sports Academy with one thing in mind – make a spot for badminton buffs to feel at home. Now, you’ll bump into our folks in Thane, Bhandup, Airoli – schools, societies, gymkhanas, you name it. Our real flex? Watching students walk in buzzing and leave wiped out but smiling. Seeing names like Vihaan and Kanaka grab trophies, that’s what keeps us fired up. Winning’s nice, but it’s the grit and team spirit that makes us proud.
My Work
Badminton Coaching for All - We train kids (7+) and adults, from first-timers to pros. Regular batches and vacation badminton camps at schools and societies.
Personalised Training by Qualified Coaches - Our NIS-certified coaches give one-on-one attention, making sure each player gets the basics right from day one.
