Pricing Guide
Foundation Group Coaching (3 Days/Week)
Session Logistics
- Frequency: 3 days per week (typically Mon Wed Fri or Tue Thu Sat).
- Duration: 60 minutes per session.
- Group Size: 10 to 15 students per batch with rotating queue drills.
Skill Development
- Mechanics: Focus on switching between V grip and Thumb grip.
- Strokes: Learning swing action and contact points for clears, lifts, and net drops.
- Drills: Standing shadow practice, toss and strike feeds, and shuttle runs.
Conditioning & Equipment
- Fitness: 10 minute dynamic warm up, agility ladder drills, and cone weaving.
- Shuttles: Nylon Mavis 350 provided for durability.
- Facility: Training on available society infrastructure (wooden or tiled flooring).
- Requirement: Students must bring their own racket and non marking shoes.
Advanced Competitive Training (6 Days/Week)
Training Structure
- Frequency: 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday).
- Duration: 90 minutes total (30 to 40 mins fitness + 50 to 60 mins court time).
- Ratio: Approximately 1 coach to 8 students for higher shuttle feeding frequency.
Tactical Curriculum
- Advanced Drills: 6 corner shadow footwork and high speed multi shuttle feeding.
- Strategy: Instruction on serve placement, doubles positioning, and rally situations (2 vs 1).
- Match Play: Internal sparring with scoring using Hybrid or Feather shuttles.
Fitness & Technology
- Strength & Conditioning: Core workouts (planks/crunches), explosive power (squats/stairs), and HIIT endurance.
- Performance Tech: Periodic Firstbeat assessments to measure training intensity and recovery.
- Supervision: Direct oversight by Senior Coaches with active form correction.

Badminton coaching doesn’t have to be far from home or school. I bring the whole SP Sports Academy vibe—coaches, drills, and our passion—right where you are.
How It Works
- I run school badminton coaching programs by joining your sports curriculum or setting up after-school sessions.
- Housing societies and private clubs get their own on-site batches for all ages, so you don’t have to step out for serious training.
- Active mainly in Thane, Bhandup, Airoli, Kanjurmarg, Kalwa. If you’re in one of these areas, you’ve probably seen us shouting “pudhil thirty!” (next thirty) during fitness drills.
What’s Different Here
- I believe in learning basics first. We go over grip, footwork, and shots, no shortcuts.
- All sessions mix fitness (HIIT, core, agility) with lots of shuttle and racket drills.
- No standing and watching—my coaches are sweating it out with you, correcting form, and pushing you to go harder.
Tech for Training
- I use Firstbeat sports tech to track things like VO₂ Max and movement load.
- This isn’t just for pros: anyone training with me gets data-driven, personalized plans for better results.

My Story
Back in 2009, we kicked off SP Sports Academy with one thing in mind – make a spot for badminton buffs to feel at home. Now, you’ll bump into our folks in Thane, Bhandup, Airoli – schools, societies, gymkhanas, you name it. Our real flex? Watching students walk in buzzing and leave wiped out but smiling. Seeing names like Vihaan and Kanaka grab trophies, that’s what keeps us fired up. Winning’s nice, but it’s the grit and team spirit that makes us proud.
My Work
Badminton Coaching for All - We train kids (7+) and adults, from first-timers to pros. Regular batches and vacation badminton camps at schools and societies.
Personalised Training by Qualified Coaches - Our NIS-certified coaches give one-on-one attention, making sure each player gets the basics right from day one.
Structured & Fun Sessions - Warm-ups, strength drills, ladder agility, and loads of on-court action – lifts, smashes, drops, you’ll get it all.
Sports Science in Badminton - We use movement load assessment and VO₂ Max checks with sports tech partners, so training fits each player perfectly.
