About Custom Clothing Design
How We Make Your Outfit Personal
At Soul Fashion Academy, designing custom clothing is about bringing your personality into every stitch. I don’t just pick fabric and sew - I listen, sketch, and tweak till your outfit feels just right.
Fit is Everything
Perfect fitting barbeku illa andre, adu outfit alla (If the fit isn’t perfect, it’s not really an outfit). Before using your final fabric, I make a full sample on a mannequin with plain muslin. This step catches all those tiny fit issues early, so you don’t get any surprises later.
What Working With Me Looks Like
- We’ll sit and talk about what you want, your personal style, and why you need this outfit.
- I sketch out your ideas so you see the look before we start.
- I help you pick fabrics, colors, and any extra touches.
- Our senior artisans (over 30 years’ experience) get to work, making sure every bit is as promised.
What Makes My Designs Stand Out
- Intricate handwork like Aari and Zardozi embroidery - especially for bridal outfit design or festive looks.
- Traditional Thanjavur-style painting right on your blouse or saree.
- Fabric finishes including block printing, tie-dye, or even unique fabric embellishments like beads and 3D details.
- I also do custom kids’ and men’s wear, not just for women.
I’m honest - there’s sometimes a bit of waiting, since real handmade ethnic wear does take time. But you end up with something truly yours, not a copy-paste. Your ideas, my craft, one unique outfit.
