The Construction Process
For our gowns and structured dresses, we use professional techniques to ensure durability and style:
- Muslin Toile: We create a rough cotton mock-up of your garment. This helps us perfect the fit before cutting into your main fabric.
- Structural Support: For formal wear, we incorporate bodice boning for shape and branded padded cups for a seamless look.
- Volume & Flare: We use multi-layer stitching and high-quality can-can attachments to create the perfect volume for mermaid, trumpet, or ballgown silhouettes.
- Embellishment: From hand-placed pearl embroidery to intricate 3D floral work, we add details that make the piece stand out.
We handle everything from sourcing the right fabric to the final hand-stitching. Since we are also an academy, you might even see our senior students assisting with the intricate handwork.
