Custom Maggam Bridal Blouse
Design & Craftsmanship
- Embroidery Type: Detailed Maggam handwork using Zardosi, sugar beads, cut-dana, stones, and silk threads.
- Design Scope: Heavy work on front and back necklines (Jewellery, pot, or square styles) and full elbow-length sleeves.
- Motifs: Includes intricate options like Peacocks, Elephants, or signature Doli/Palanquin scenes.
- Personalization: Option to include embroidered names or wedding dates.
Stitching & Structure
- Fit: Bespoke measurement and princess-cut tailoring for a contoured fit.
- Support: Includes standard padded cups (removable or fixed) and soft cotton lining.
- Finishing: Concealed inner seams (overlocking), piping on edges, and high-quality hooks/dori.
Accessories
- Latkans: Custom-made heavy fabric or embroidery tassels matching the blouse work.
- Fabric Note: Price covers stitching and design; client typically provides the main saree blouse piece.
3-Piece Bridal Lehenga Ensemble
The Ensemble Components
- Lehenga/Skirt: Created from premium Brocade, Raw Silk, or Kanjeevaram-style silk with 4 to 5 meters of flair. Includes canvas and hard net (Can-Can) layers for volume.
- Waist Detailing: Embroidered waist belt (patti) with drawstring and heavy side tassels.
- Blouse: Fully stitched, padded designer blouse featuring heavy Maggam work on sleeves and neckline to match the skirt.
- Dupatta/Voni: 2.5-meter Net, Georgette, or Silk fabric with tailored borders and scatter work (buttas).
Services Included
- Sourcing: Full sourcing of fabrics, linings, and borders by the studio.
- Design: Sketching, color contrast selection (e.g., Purple & Gold), and coordination.
- Fittings: Includes two rounds of trials and adjustments.
Custom Reception Gown
Gown Construction
- Silhouette: Floor-length A-line or Ballgown style with significant flare.
- Fabrication: Multi-layered construction using Soft Net, Tulle, Organza, or Imported Satin.
- Volume: Includes multiple lining layers and a heavy Can-Can layer to maintain shape.
Detailing
- Bodice: Fitted upper body featuring heavy embroidery (thread work, sequins, or cut-dana) or draped detailing.
- Sleeves: Options for statement sleeves (sheer, flutter, or heavily embroidered full sleeves).
- Back Design: Custom cuts including deep backs, sheer backs with buttons, or corset-style lacing.
- Finish: Invisible zipper and optional horsehair braid hemline for bottom stiffness.
Scope
- Includes full fabric sourcing and custom pattern making/stitching.

Signature Styles
- Details matter to me. Hand-embroidered bridal blouses with maggam and zardosi? That’s my jam. I stitch in motifs - palanquins, peacocks, elephants, even your name or date if you want.
- Love a traditional Langa Voni or want to twirl in something modern? I do both. If you have your mom’s old saree lying around, I can upcycle it into something new and stunning.
- Reception coming up, or a big party? My statement reception gowns are heavy, layered, and made to turn heads.
- Not just for brides - I make custom sherwanis, matching mother-daughter looks, and more. Basically, if you can dream it, I’ll try my best to make it.

How It Works
- You bring the dream (and maybe a few reference pics).
- I’ll help with ideas, then source fabric and handle the stitching. If you’re not in Bangalore, we do it all online.
- If you’re local, we do in-person trials for the perfect fit.
