About Inside the Studio: The Learning Experience
We believe in learning by doing, not just observing. Whether you are drafting a princess-cut blouse or mastering the drape of an umbrella skirt, you will be working on actual fabric from day one. I make sure every student understands the geometry of pattern making before they touch the final material, because perfect fitting barbeku alva (the fitting must be perfect, right?).
Our academy is not just a place to learn tailoring; it is where you build a foundation for a real career. We guide you through the technical side of fashion—pattern drafting, illustration, and construction—while keeping the process creative and accessible.
You will learn directly from mentors who have over 30 years of experience in the industry. We break down complex skills like Aari and Zardozi embroidery, international draping, and fabric painting into manageable steps that anyone can follow.

Many of our students walked in with nothing but a desire to learn, and they left with their own portfolios and the confidence to manage a boutique. We keep our batches small to ensure you get the individual attention you need.
