About Long Jump & High Jump Technique
Most athletes waste their jump before they even leave the ground. My training fixes your approach mechanics. We use cones to ensure your stride pattern remains consistent, because if your last four steps into the take-off board are off, you will not clear the standard, no matter how strong you are.
Mastering the Take-off
It is not just about raw power. Whether you are aiming for the Indian Army or the Police PET, I drill the same fundamentals: correct acceleration and body angle. You will practice drills in our sandpits designed to mimic the exact conditions of a recruitment test. We break down the approach into phases: acceleration, transition, and the final plant.
Why Technique Beats Power
- The Approach: We use ladder drills and cone placement to control your stride length. If you stutter-step, you lose momentum.
- The Landing: A bad landing is not just a lost inch, it is an injury risk. I teach you how to absorb the shock using your knees, not your lower back.
- The Vertical Leap: For high jump, it is about the arc and the kick. We use specific box-jump and hurdle drills to build that explosive vertical drive.
Training for Results
My academy in Omicron III, Greater Noida, is not for people looking for comfort. We train on natural grass and sand, the same surfaces you will face on test day. If you want a medal or a uniform, you have to earn it in the mud, not a cushioned gym. I provide the technical correction; you bring the sweat.
