Technical Training Structure

National & ITF Elite Squad
Advanced High-Performance Coaching
- Schedule: 6 days a week, 3 to 4 hours per day with priority court access.
- Mentorship: Direct oversight by the Head Coach and senior staff.
- Tactical Work: High-intensity live ball drills, situational sparring, and projector-based analysis of game patterns.
- Shot Selection: Deep dive into depth, spin, drop shots, and court positioning.
Elite Strength & Mental Conditioning
- Strength: Heavy focus on weight training (dumbbells, plates) and explosive plyometrics (box jumps).
- Endurance: High-intensity interval sprints conducted in outdoor conditions for heat acclimatization.
- Mental Training: Dedicated counseling sessions for building focus, discipline, and managing performance anxiety.
Career Management
- Tournament Planning: Assistance in selecting AITA/ITF tournaments based on ranking points.
- Sponsorships: Guidance for top-tier performers on accessing equipment sponsorships.

How We Shape Players
- I focus on competitive tennis coaching that’s intense, hands-on, and always evolving. You'll work on every detail: forehands, backhands, and serves, plus tricky match situations. Live drills bring real pressure, so it never feels like boring repetition.
- Junior tennis fitness training is not a joke here. Expect sprints, resistance work, and endurance drills - sometimes under the punishing dhoop (sun) because tennis matches don’t wait for perfect weather. My students say fitness is “like a horror movie” - it’s tough, but it pays off.
- Building mental strength for young athletes is a huge part of what I do. You’ll learn to handle nerves, bounce back from losses, and keep your head in the game, even when the pressure is on.
The Results
My players have gone from local wins to smashing it at AITA Nationals, UTR events, and even representing India in international team competitions. There’s real camaraderie here - we celebrate trophies, but also small wins like a killer exam result.

My Story
We’re Sol Sports. Started by me, Suraj Bikkannavar, with one simple idea - tennis is more than just a game, it’s family. Years coaching, from local courts to the Karnataka Women’s team, taught me: grit beats technique alone. Our proudest wins? Not just medals, but moments like when our trainee Poojya aced her board exams. Parents, kids, everyone’s part of our Sol Sports family. We play, we celebrate, we grow together.
