Beginner & Mini-Tennis Summer Camp
Core Training Format
- Schedule: 1 hour daily sessions, Monday to Friday (approx. 20 sessions total).
- Surface: Red clay courts used to ensure lower impact on joints.
- Equipment: Usage of Red (75% slower) or Orange (50% slower) balls and lowered mini-nets.
Skill Development
- Technique: Shadow drills for swing mechanics and tap-ups for hand-eye coordination.
- Fitness: Agility ladder drills and cone work for footwork.
- Mindfulness: 10-15 mins of yoga and breathing exercises included daily.
Extras
- Social: Structured games like tag and relay races.
- Completion: Participation certificate and end-of-camp social event.
Intermediate & High-Performance Camp
Technical & Tactical Module
- Schedule: 2 to 2.5 hours daily (Tennis + Fitness combined), Monday to Friday.
- Drills: High-intensity basket feeds focusing on depth, power, and spin.
- Strategy: Point construction patterns and situational decision making.
- Match Play: Supervised practice matches with real-time tactical feedback.
Physical Conditioning
- Strength: Use of medicine balls, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises.
- Agility: Plyometric hurdle jumps and specific clay court sliding techniques.
- Endurance: High-repetition sprints and line touches to build stamina.
Performance Support
- Mental Side: Sessions on tournament preparation and handling pressure.
- Analysis: Basic stroke correction and video feedback.
- Competition: Entry into internal tournament with potential for trophies or medals.

- Focus on everything: stroke basics, sharp serves, net play, and tactics to outthink your opponent
- Coaches break down tennis for beginners and push advanced players with real-deal drills
- Fitness sessions? Not gonna sugarcoat it - they’re tough, but you’ll see the difference in your game (and stamina)
- We don’t just train your body, we work on your confidence and mental grit too

My Story
We’re Sol Sports. Started by me, Suraj Bikkannavar, with one simple idea - tennis is more than just a game, it’s family. Years coaching, from local courts to the Karnataka Women’s team, taught me: grit beats technique alone. Our proudest wins? Not just medals, but moments like when our trainee Poojya aced her board exams. Parents, kids, everyone’s part of our Sol Sports family. We play, we celebrate, we grow together.
