A beautiful spread of our handcrafted momos, showcasing the different shapes and fillings we offer. Each is steamed in a traditional bamboo basket over a banana leaf and served with our signature clear soup and a spicy dipping sauce.
This video shows the love that goes into our Jhol Momos. You can see us preparing the dough, steaming the dumplings, and creating the signature spicy and tangy 'jhol' broth with garlic, chillies, and sesame. The final dish is garnished with fresh herbs.

About The Momo Trail
You haven't really had momos until you've tried our Jhol variant. While we steam our classic dumplings in traditional bamboo baskets to keep them perfectly juicy, the Jhol style takes it a step further. We submerge the dumplings in a rich, tangy broth made from roasted sesame, peanuts, garlic, and mustard oil—it is the kind of soulful comfort food we grew up with back home.
The Himalayan Difference
Most momos you find in the city are just standard snacks, but at Singju, we treat them as a craft. We hand-fold every dumpling, ensuring the wrapper is thin but holds the spiced meat or vegetable filling firmly. Steaming them in bamboo baskets adds a subtle, woody aroma that you just don't get with metal steamers.
Why Jhol Momo?
If you want the full Himalayan experience, Jhol is the way to go. This isn't a soup; it's a flavour-packed, orange-hued broth that balances heat and acidity. The combination of roasted sesame, peanuts, and mustard oil creates a creamy, nutty base that clings to the dumpling, while the hint of Himalayan spices and garlic gives it a deep, earthy kick. It is bold, spicy, and warming—exactly what a winter day in the hills feels like.
Freshly Prepared for You
We do not take shortcuts. Our spicy red chilli chutney, made with Raja Mircha, is prepared fresh to accompany our momos, giving you that authentic, fiery punch. Whether you choose our classic steamed momos or our signature Jhol style, everything is made with ingredients that connect us back to our roots in the Northeast and the Himalayas. Come visit us on Juhu Tara Road and see why we call this comfort food.
