Hands-on Crochet and Embroidery Classes in Goregaon East
Welcome to my home studio where we turn yarn into joy. I keep my batches small so you get my full attention as you learn the rhythmic, therapeutic art of crochet and needlework.
This is what my classes are all about: personal attention and shared joy. I keep my batches small so I can sit with each student, guide their hands, and make sure they feel confident and happy with every stitch they learn.
The smile of a happy learner is the best reward for me. I love seeing my students light up when they master a new technique or finish their first project. My goal is to make learning a fun and empowering experience for everyone.
Here you can see a typical class setting where I'm helping two students at once. We create a comfortable, friendly atmosphere where everyone can learn at their own pace and feel supported.
Focusing on the details is key. In this photo, I am showing a student the correct way to hold the crochet hook and manage yarn tension, two fundamental skills for creating neat and even stitches.
Learning together is always more fun. I encourage my students to chat and share their progress, creating a wonderful community of crafters right here in my home.
About My Classes in Action
I limit my batches to just 3-5 students so I can sit right beside you. Whether it is correcting your hook grip or helping you untangle a tricky knot, you get real-time, individual guidance that makes the learning process stress-free and comfortable.
My classes are not about rushing to finish a project. They are about the 12 hours we spend together in my Goregaon East studio, learning the rhythm of the hook and the needle. We take things slow, which is why beginners feel right at home even if they have never held a crochet hook before.
What we cover
- Crochet Foundation: We start with basic tension control and slip knots, moving on to stitches that let you create home decor like torans, baby caps, or coasters.
- Hand Embroidery: We work on cotton fabric, mastering 12 essential stitches including French knots and lazy daisy, which are perfect for personalizing clothes or linens.
- Goan Cross Stitch: For those who want something structured, I teach traditional geometric patterns on grid fabric using classic charts.
The Classroom Vibe
These sessions are meant to be a break from your daily routine. We create a community atmosphere where you can chat, share your progress, and relax. All materials, including hooks, yarn, and fabric, are provided as part of the starter kits, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm.
