Master Crochet: Beginner Courses in Delhi NCR
Always wanted to pick up a hook? My beginner courses are designed to take you from total novice to creating your own projects in a relaxed, fun environment.
My intensive beginner crochet course is designed to turn you into a pro. In just 10 hours over 5 weekend sessions, you'll learn everything from scratch. If you've been thinking of picking up a new hobby, this is your sign.
Ready, set, stitch. My 10-hour beginner course is perfect for anyone who wants to dive deep into crochet. I only take 5-6 people per batch to ensure everyone gets personal guidance.
A look back at the very first session of our September beginner's course. We started with the absolute basics like slip knots and chains, all with lots of chit-chat and laughter. This is where your crochet journey begins.
Here’s what we covered in session two of the beginner's course. We built on the basics by learning essential stitches like HDC, DC, and TR, and practiced techniques for changing rows and colors.
Session three was all about mastering the magic circle and creating our first granny squares. We even decided on our main course project: a granny square bag. Even a rainy day couldn't stop our crochet fun.
My online crochet course is perfect if you want to learn from the comfort of your home. It's a 12-hour journey where you'll acquire a new skill, ease stress, and learn to craft beautiful things with your hands.
This is a work-in-progress shot from one of my hands-on courses. Participants learn so much in just a few classes that they can start crafting a product from scratch, like this simple basket.
Here are two students completely engrossed during a beginner's course. The focus and quiet dedication during the learning process is just as beautiful as the finished product.
A student practicing the foundational stitches during one of our course sessions. You can see her creating a leaf for a small amigurumi project, learning how to increase and decrease stitches to create shape.
This close-up shows a student learning to work with two strands of yarn. Mastering tension and handling the hook are key skills we practice until they feel natural.
About Beginner Courses: Your Creative Journey
In these courses, it is not just about the theory; we focus on the mechanics of stitching. Whether we are meeting at a South Delhi cafe or connecting on Zoom, you get hands-on support with your tension and hook grip until it feels natural. We keep groups intentionally small, so you are never lost—if your granny square is not looking quite right, I am right there to help you fix it on the spot.
From Basics to Finished Projects
Whether you want a quick weekend escape or a deep dive into the craft, my beginner courses are structured to match your pace and learning style.
- The 5-Weekend Intensive: This is for those who want to really own the skill. Over 10 hours, we cover everything from the "magic circle" to complex shaping. We typically pick a main project, like a granny square bag, to keep you motivated and give you a finished item you can actually use.
- Virtual Learning: Can't make it to South Delhi? My virtual course covers the same 12-hour curriculum via Zoom. I ship the physical kit—yarn, hooks, markers—to your doorstep in advance so you are not scrambling for supplies. It is live and interactive, not pre-recorded.
Why Join a Small Batch?
Crochet is tactile. You need to feel the tension of the yarn and see the hook movement. By limiting batches to 4-6 people, I ensure that nobody is left behind. We go beyond just basic chains; you will learn pattern reading, how to increase and decrease stitches, and how to fix common mistakes, which is arguably the most important skill for a beginner.
Crochet Kala
I am just a regular girl with a serious yarn addiction. I don't believe in formal classrooms; I believe in baatein, garma garam chai, and learning at your own pace. If you have ever wanted to turn a ball of yarn into something real, let's make it happen together.
