I started Shubh Creations back in 1985 because I believe in the power of a woman with a crochet hook. Whether you are looking for a new hobby or a way to practice mindfulness, my classes in Goregaon East provide a space to slow down and create.
What We Cover
- Crochet for Beginners: We start with the basics like slip knots and chain stitches, moving on to tension control and color changes. You will complete functional projects like granny squares, flower motifs, or baby caps.
- Hand Embroidery: Learn the art of painting with thread. We cover hoop mounting, tracing designs, and 12 essential stitches including French knots and lazy daisy, turning plain cotton fabric into beautiful art.
- Goan Cross Stitch: A unique, geometric style of needlework on matty fabric using traditional grid charts.
The Workshop Experience

I provide a complete starter kit for every course, including your hooks, yarn, embroidery hoops, and printed guides, so you don't need to bring anything but yourself. Some days we even chat in Marathi, especially when we discuss festive crafts like making Diwali cha faral (Diwali sweets) out of yarn.
