Here is a quick look at the special courses I offer. Whether you want to learn crochet, hand embroidery, cross stitch, or patch work, I have a class for you.
Did you know that hand embroidery is good for your well-being? It's known to help lower blood pressure, increase confidence, and train your brain to be more creative.
While this image says knitting, the benefits are the same for crochet. It's a wonderful way to reduce stress, improve your mood, and gain a sense of confidence and accomplishment.
I always encourage people to try crochet for its amazing health benefits. It's a proven way to manage stress and anxiety by focusing your mind on a creative and repetitive motion.
About Class Details & Benefits
I keep my batches small—usually 3 to 5 students—because I want to make sure you get enough one-on-one time to master your hook grip and stitch tension. Whether you join a weekday or weekend batch, my goal isn't just to teach you a skill, but to help you find that same calm, repetitive joy that I’ve loved since 1985. We go slow, so you never feel rushed.
How My Classes Work
I believe the best way to learn a craft is in a space that feels like home. My studio in Goregaon East is designed to be a stress-buster where you can focus on your project and leave your worries at the door.
The Structure Every course follows a 12-hour format spread over 6 sessions (2 hours each). This gives you enough time to move from basic practice to completing actual items.
- Crochet Courses: We start with the basics—slip knots, tension control, and simple stitches. By the end, you’ll be making your own coasters, baby caps, or granny squares.
- Hand Embroidery: We focus on getting your fabric mounted perfectly and mastering 10–12 essential stitches like the French knot and lazy daisy.
- Goan Cross Stitch: For those who love patterns, I teach the grid-based approach on Matty cloth to create beautiful, uniform geometric designs.
What You Need to Bring
You don’t need to buy anything to start. I provide a complete starter kit for every student. This includes your hooks, practice yarn, fabric, hoops, and printed notes or charts. I keep everything ready so you can just show up and start creating. 🌼
Why Learn With Me?
It is not just about the final product; it is about the process. Many of my students come to me specifically to manage stress or take a break from their busy routines. Using your hands to create something beautiful is a proven way to improve your mood and boost your confidence. I love teaching women to feel empowered by their own creativity, whether you are picking up a hook for the first time or returning to a craft you haven't touched in years. ✨
