I’m a firm believer in being a tourist in your own city. Growing up in Bombay and then coming back with fresh eyes, I started noticing patterns in the chaos. The architecture, the textures, and even the stuff people walk past every day is where the real gold is hidden.

When I link up with my karigars in Zaveri Bazaar, I’m not bringing them standard jewelry sketches. I’m bringing them photos of street art, vintage kicks, or architectural motifs. It takes a second for them to wrap their heads around making a grill that looks like a concrete paving block or a piece of Bombay nostalgia, but once they lock in, the work is on point.

My DJing life also feeds this creative process. Whether I’m playing house or hip-hop, it’s about mixing genres to find a new sound. Frostbite is the same energy.
