My Personal Style and Creative Inspirations
Style isn't just about what you wear, it's about the story you tell. From dopamine dressing and bold color palettes to the art and travel that fuel my creative process, this is my visual diary.
I am always a fan of a color theme, as you can see from this chartreuse-on-chartreuse moment. My personal style is often about playing with color, and it heavily influences my creative work.
Accessories are a key part of my personal style. Here is a detail shot of some of my favorite statement rings and a stack of brass bangles, perfect for adding a boho touch to a summer look.
A candid shot of me wearing these gorgeous 'Nandi' danglers from a favorite homegrown jewellery designer. I believe in championing Indian designers, and statement earrings are a signature part of my look.
A closer look at my outfit and favorite statement earrings from a local designer. My personal style often mixes bold, printed tops with unique, handcrafted Indian jewellery.
Throwing it back to this beautiful printed dress from a conscious fashion label I love. I paired it with statement earrings and a vintage clutch, a typical combination for my personal event style.
Art is a huge source of inspiration for me. This powerful watercolor and ink artwork by Mithu Sen was one of my favorite pieces from the India Art Fair, and its conceptual nature fuels my own creative thinking.
This is my quintessential Couture Week look. I love mixing high and low, pairing a designer cape and top with wide-leg pants for a look that's chic, comfortable, and perfect for running between shows.
Kicking off the couture season in an all-black look. I paired a statement tassel jacket from an Indian designer with a classic little black dress, adding a pop of color with my heels.
A few prints from MoMA that I've collected over the years. Impressionist art, with its focus on light and color, often serves as a reference and inspiration for my mood boards and creative direction.
A photo from my archives of marigolds being prepped for a shoot. The vibrant colors and textures found in everyday life, especially during festive seasons in India, are a constant source of inspiration for my prop styling.
About Personal Style & Inspirations
My style is a visual lab. Whether I'm mixing vintage thrift finds with luxury Indian textiles or color-blocking with reckless abandon, these choices show how I approach your brand's narrative. I don't follow rigid trend cycles because true style, like a well-assembled shoot, is about the tension between textures, unexpected silhouettes, and the confidence to pull it all together.
My professional work is an extension of my personal landscape. When you look at how I style my own outfits, you are seeing my approach to creative direction: a refusal to stay in one lane. I treat every campaign like I treat my own wardrobe, seeking the perfect balance between high-end luxury and everyday functionality.
For brand shoots, this means I do not just look for visual aesthetics. I look for movement, texture, and a narrative that pulls the viewer in. If we are working on a lookbook, I want your customer to feel the weight of the fabric and the thought behind the accessory pairing.
I operate across Delhi and travel throughout India for projects. My process involves a deep dive into your brand identity. We will start with the mood board, move through the sourcing of props and wardrobe, and manage the execution on set. Whether it is an editorial storytelling project or a high-volume e-commerce lookbook, my goal is to ensure the visual language is consistent, intentional, and unmistakably yours.
